Maybe it's because we see force and physical altercation as the only means to an end, but this blog definitely puts that mentality to rest. I agree that it's humorous, but even moreso in the sense that it's celebrating the power of words and the nuances that they can present that even brute force can't. One of my close friends has signs put up all over his house (which he shares with his housemates). His sink for example: Left Side - "Rinsed dishes only! Next step, dishwasher!"<BR/>Right Side - "This is where dirty dishes go. If this is full, someone is failing at life."Jesalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09237256897708487543noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4485285597118810468.post-64339052606029923972008-05-07T13:14:00.000-07:002008-05-07T13:14:00.000-07:00haha truth, this blog was hilarious! It seems that alot of times people like blogs that they can relate to, something that speaks to their personal struggles as, say a dog groomer. I tend to gravitate towards blogs and sites that point out the funny contradictions in our society... I wonder if anybody's ever done a study on what a blog really says about a person... or maybe thats just self evident...thegirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16858574589568360601noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4485285597118810468.post-60026830530653320972008-05-07T02:01:00.000-07:002008-05-07T02:01:00.000-07:00Thanks for a heads up on this blog, I thought it w...Thanks for a heads up on this blog, I thought it was pretty amusing. I think it's harmless fun that allows people to blow off steam and make people laugh at the same time. I thought the one about the toilet paper note was really ironic given that the roommate who did it thought that not communicating face to face was childish. People are funny like that sometimes. I think anything that reveals unique, flawed character traits is incredibly interesting. Blogging is a way to reveal those traits and not be penalized for it, and in a way, it even embraces these qualities. <BR/><BR/>But that is one worry that I have about blogs. It can create online communities that perpetuate inappropriate, immoral beliefs and there is nothing in place to monitor or prevent that. Again, this blog is harmless and fun, but it did make me think about how blogs can potentially reinforce negative behavior.Sara Capulehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05835045494663426025noreply@blogger.com
