Reuter's Wire

I have just read the Reuter's Wire articles and kept finding myself wondering if the issues written about were make-believe or are in fact real.  I decided that they are probably real, that the SL gurus went to Congress to disclose the FBI's investigation into "griefing."  This article reminded me of the discussions related to Mr. Bungle and how he should be punished; whether or not the Real law enforcement could get involved in a Virtual crime.  It seems that in SL Real authorities have indeed become involved by banning gambling in SL and looking into terrorism on SL.  This article talked about Islamic extremists exploiting SL and committing Virtual terrorist acts; would these actions be considered terrorism, or not (as Mr. Bungle's rapes weren't actually considered rapes).  On a side note, if virtual terrorism did occur, how would it be different from video games and computer games that involve people - children included - blowing up people and places and other violent actions??
