If I were to maintain a weblog, I’d like to make it like (http://www.overheardinnewyork.com/) because i think that type of blog would be the type of blog that would keep me most interested otherwise I do not know if I could maintain a blog that would keep others interested. “The blog I just couldn’t stop reading was (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/) but this is because I was looking for information on this particular subject matter and was previously unable to find a medium that was satisfactory. As many others do I rely on the internet for my daily source of legit news. This weblog version of the News offers subject matter on current events as well as unbiased and opinionated commentary from people who share interest in the field. I do not really think there is a blog everybody else should read because it’s really a question of if you are a part of the group that the blog is targeting. It’s a matter of what your interests are and whether or not you are interested in what other people have to say on the subject.
I find myself much more interested in some of these weblogs than I expected, on the other hand I do not believe that I would have the desire or the drive to create or manage one of these weblogs as although a lot of the effort is in the contribution from the “public” there is still a considerable amount of effort and upkeep required to maintain a weblog that can capture any “public’s” attention.

Just to touch on your comment about Huffingtonpost.com and internet news in general, I agree with your assertion that there is more flexibility to express a message. Television news has been so infiltrated from corporate manipulation that it's so difficult to sit through a news cycle and actually get an indepth message.
Online news media, and more specifically the huffingtonpost, which I have visited, has the opportunity to delve deeper into subjects and provide reliable information to online users that television cannot support.
