If you have the chance to look at the website Dichotomy, check it out. The basis for the page is a place for people to write about the experience that each one of us had on 9/11 as we heard the news, as I'm sure each person can remember where they were, what they were wearing, their initial reactions and how those shifted repeatedly throughout the day. There is also a section for those personally affected by the tragedy to write memories or accounts of how they witnessed and experienced the day first-hand. One can read the two types of accounts paired together randomly (which I suggest) and get a glimpse at the common feelings of strangers across the country and world who experienced a momentous tragedy in such a similar way.
