PostSecret

Another blog that I just couldn’t stop reading and that I think other people should read is PostSecret. At the beginning of the blog, an explanation of the site is listed, “PostSecret is an ongoing community art project where people mail in their secrets anonymously on one side of a homemade postcard.” This blog is really great because it not only allows people to express their deepest secrets in an anonymous environment, but it also allows these secrets to take the form of art. The blog is very colorful and amusing because each secret is accompanied by images. Post Secret is a very creative blog that keeps the reader engaged by use of pictures. While most traditional blogs are solely comprised of text entries, PostSecret requires the use of imagery.
If I had a pressing secret that I just couldn’t keep to myself, I would definitely post it on PostSecret. Why not? No one would know it was me. Even though revealing a secret on a blog would allow the secret to be viewed publicly by millions of strangers, it would still remain anonymous. This blog allows anyone to submit their secrets and explains the process in the “How do I mail in my secrets?” section. It is an extremely user friendly blog and even its contents relies on its readership. I found nothing dull about Post Secret and I highly recommend that everyone check it out.

I definitely agree with Alex on this one. I think that if I had a huge secret that I couldn't tell anyone, this would be a good way to release that anxiety. It is also a good site to go to for people who don't want to feel so alone in their problems.
